The food looks incomplete without lentils on the plate. Pulses and vegetables are prepared in the daily diet in most households. People eat lentils in all seasons, winter, summer or rainy season. All pulses are good for health. But if some pulses are eaten seasonally, the benefit is doubled.

For example , Urad dal is quite heavy , so it should be avoided in Rainy season.

Moong Dal is rich in protein.

One bowl of lentils should be consumed daily.If not daily, then eat mixed lentils 4-5 days in a week. It is recommended to eat dal at lunch. In case of any stomach problems, it is recommended to eat lentils. If this lentil is made thin, it is more digestible and gives immediate relief to the stomach.

To stay away from diabetes, cholesterol and heart diseases , eat more pulses.

People who eat moong dal and mixed dal 4-5 times a week also get rid of many problems. Pulses are rich in fiber, which lowers bad cholesterol in the body and reduces the risk of heart disease.
