Installing Python on your computer is the first step to become Python Programmer. There are multiple installation methods such as download official Python distribution from python.org , install from package manager etc.

Python installation on Windows –

Step 1: Select Latest Version of Python to download from https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/.

Step 2: Download Python Executable Installer and double-click the executable file Select Customize installation and proceed. Click on the Add Path check box, it will set the Python path automatically. Make sure to select the “Install launcher for all users” and “Add Python 3.9 to PATH” checkbox.

Step 3: Wait for the installation process to complete.

Step 4: After successful installation , its time verify the installation.For this open command prompt and type “python –version” , it will show you the latest installed Python version.

Step 5: Make sure pip is installed.To check this ,type “pip –version” in command prompt. If pip is not installed , you will see – ‘pip’ is not recognized as an internal or external command
